$20 1929 small brown seal. Small National Bank Notes 1802-2
Here is a 1929 $10 Federal Reserve Bank Note. It is from the Chicago district. If you are looking for a generic $20 FRBN, this is a good note to get. It is not amazingly expensive and hard to find like a Richmond, Kansas CIty, Dallas, or San Francisco $20 in uncirculated. During the depression Roosevelt ordered a bank holiday and shut down the banks for a day. At that time the BEP used paper that was slated to print nationals and printed Federal Reserve Bank notes in a hurry. This is one of those emergency notes.
